Hello New Shoreham. Block Island is our favorite day trip. We only do it once a year. Drive 45 minutes south to Point Judith and catch the ferry. An hour later we are biking around quiet Block Island. It is 7 miles North ot South and 3 miles East to West. It has a North and South light house, lots of great beaches, hiking spots, a farm, playground, library and a strip of shops. The day was warm for October, 60s. We didn’t bring swim gear on account of the season, but Berkeley called our bluff and got in the surf.
