I had to substitute teach Katahdin’s co-op art class. We did shaving cream painting. It was so fun that we came home and did it again and again. It smelled great and made really nice marbled paper for cards.
Supplies:
- Cardstock
- Baking pan
- White shaving cream (not gel) – One bottle will do fill pans
- Food coloring
- Fork
- Rubber squeegee
Directions:
- Fill Baking pan with shaving cream
- Sprinkle several different colors on cream (10 -15 drops)
- Swirl colors with fork
- Press in white card stock and lift out again.
- Squeegee off cream to reveal design. Papers dry within 30 minutes
- Repeat with more papers reusing pan and cream until the cream turns completely gray
